bike hikes
just finished bike hike this morning...now super duper drained of all energy liao...muscle aching from finger-tip to toe-tip...ah...next couple of days need to recuperate and recharge for more mugging liao!
started off with packing for the event...filling the leaking hydropack...irritating device...haix...then went to parkway parade to takeaway the qiu lian ban mian to bring over to marine cove there to eat. the ban mian super nice!!! yay~ long time haven eaten it liaoz...especially with their chilli...very nice! hehez...met the participants and collected the bikes. merlin's light stick really cannot make it...like no light liddat...but have the make do with it...lucky almost every bike has its on bike light attached to the bike.
the first part of the hike was scavenger hunt...quite okay la...they tried their best to find the things...the live cockroach part very conincidental...walk out of Mac, saw one and herng huei just pounced on it to catch it...||o...the other items also not bad lar...
after that, from bedok mrt to bedok reservoir, they played with sparklers there, with sparklers as their only source of light there...hehez...at the stroke of midnight, we sang happy birthday to moo moo...and jianliang was soaked in water by the 28th...haha...from there, we continued on with the journey to changi village...the trip quite okay lar, especially the flyover crossing...along upper changi rd north, jang fall down and had quite a bad cut to the achilles tendon that part...i think got 4 cm long...but it wass not that deep...so it was quite okay...finally reached changi village...ate a bowl of cup noodles there...before going to changi beach for games...there was a bunch of malay youths who din quite like our presence there...but heck...they dun own the beach...
after games, fearing the the gravel path would be locked, zhemin, yujin, likoon and i sped all the way from changi beach back to east coast in 40 minutes! madness...we cycling until mad...hahaz...but luckily it was not locked, but they built a perimeter around it liao...
at bedok jetty, waited patiently for the sunrise and took nice photographs of the fluffy clouds...caught the sunruse not long after that! super nice! cycled back to the shop...but halfway through, the pedal fell off! i had to cycle with 1 pedal and a awkward position for my the other feet...hehez...went to mac for breakfast...ate 2 sausage egg mcmuffin to satisfy my hunger...hehez....
came back home to rest a sleep after that...
